Our Events
Kahurangi Friends is a group of locals, mostly whānau(!), with an interest in supporting our school and our community.
We live here, we see the talent and potential in our students and our
community, and we pitch in to make things happen.
Being a Kahurangi Friend means you can join in as much or as little as you like.
Some people come to all our meetings and want to make decisions.
Others come to help peel veggies for a hāngi, work in our school gardens, decorate the school hall for the disco, or help with setting up stages, lights, and tents when we run Kotahi (our music event on February 6 each year).
Kahurangi Code Club
Created and run by our parents.
Three modules covering Scratch, Micro:bits and Edison robots.
